About

Meet Helen Abbadi

Hi, I’m so glad you’re here!

I’m Helen Abbadi, a registered dietitian in the Denver metro area. I completed my master’s degree in dietetics and my dietetic internship at Loyola University Chicago. I have been practicing in the field of eating disorders since 2015 and have worked at inpatient, residential, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient levels of care.

My first career in healthcare began 20 years ago as a nurse in various acute settings.  It was through that work that I developed an interest in nutrition, as I witnessed the impact that nutrition has on every aspect of a person’s health and the role it plays in disease prevention and healing. I make use of my varied medical and nutritional experience in my practice.

In memory of Ragz, the Body Positivity Pug.

Outside of work, I enjoy hiking, spending time with friends, and caring for my many plants.

I look forward to working alongside you in your journey to a better relationship with food, so that you can Nourish, Heal, and Sustain.

I have observed firsthand Helen’s strong knowledge in eating disorder care, adept at treating the most complex patients with eating disorders and their comorbidities, while supporting and educating the families of these patients. She is a highly competent eating disorder dietitian, and given her background in nursing, Helen is also the dietitian to whom we send our most medically complicated patients.
